Very nice television. Great image quality, and even better audio. I usually do not expect much from internal speakers, but I have to admit the ones on the RCA 46LA45RQ are amazing. I mounted the television to the wall, and then connected my HD box, and have nothing to complaints. Sport matches, particularly hockey matches look and sound fantastic! I would definitely recommend this RCA television to any person looking for good value at an affordable price.

That is really amazing isn’t it? Anyway, the second reviewer here isn’t really that happy with the TV but reading it for sure will give us good insight from both side about the TV. This RCA TV is a huge disappointment. The image quality is very poor. I am sorry we purchased it. It is so bad that we are moving it to a room where we hardly ever watch television and putting our old television back in its place.

I am truly in love with my RCA 46″ HD TV. The viewing of the picture type can be adjusted according to what you are viewing. If viewing regular TV such, as the news, the screen can be selected as normal. If watching a movie, the screen can be adjusted for that. When watching a DVD, you can zoom in or make a selection according to the type of movie you are viewing.

I have two flat screens and one analog. The 46″ and the 22″ are by far better for watching everything. One day I’ll replace the analog with a 32″ HD flat screen. Hopefully, RCA’s will be within my price range.

I purchased this RCA TV for my dad who is deaf and relies totally on the Closed Captioning to watch television. This television is a good buy with a lot of functions and fantastic image quality IF YOU DON’T RELY ON CLOSED CAPTIONING. Despite many hours of research and effort, I simply can not change the font size, and color of the closed captioning. The captioning always get back to the factory settings which are way too small for my dad to see it clearly. To tell you the truth, RCA Technical Support DOESN’T EXIST! That company have no online support and their toll free phone number is an exercise in utter futility. The online support link refers you to an online chat provider that asks $15.00 just to answer your questions. As I already said, if you do not need the closed captioning you can really read, this TV is a great buy.
